Now HDTV in your pocket
Carrying HDTV in your pocket, sounds crazy right! Well, it is true at least that’s whatHammacher Schlemmer is suggesting us.Hammacher Schlemmer has devised a new gadget a pocket-sized, portable color TV set that is capable of receiving high-definition digital broadcasts.
Measuring 5.25 x 3.25 x 0.75 inches and weighs around 7.5 ounces, the quality of the displayed images is quite far from what you'd expect from an HDTV.
Hence, the tiny TV set (4.25-inch diagonal size) displays content using 480 x 272 pixel resolutions, as well as a 16:9 screen mode for “true HD aspect ratio.”
Additionally it sports a 60-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angle, two built-in 1/2-watt speakers that deliver clear sound, and a headphone jack that allows users to listen without disturbing others.
Features:
¨ Pocket sized portable HDTV set.
¨ 5.25 x 3.25 x 0.75 inches and weighs around 7.5 ounces.
¨ The built-in antenna that collapses back into the case.
¨ An external antenna with a magnetic base that can connect to the unit from 80-feet away using its cord, allowing users to choose the exact position for optimum reception.
¨ Powered by a built-in lithium-ion battery that provides up to 1 1/2 hours of viewing from a 4 1/2-hour charge using the included AC adapter.
